Chat and Chomp is a group of men who meet to plan different and new ideas to get men together over food, sport and music. Each quarter they get together in Leongatha to chat and chomp on food in a relaxed casual environment. Ideas are thrown around and helpers recruited to organise events and activities that support good mental health and social connection. Any new members are welcomed. Come along and bring your good ideas to get men in the community out and mixing with others. Keep your eyes on this website for the date of the next Chat and Chomp.

Members of the group have organised events including:
- 24 Hour Table Tennis over the Australia Day Weekend 2022;
- Golf Without Balls – an evening with an interesting speaker and dinner held at Mirboo North Golf Club;
- Chatty Cafes – there are now 5 in South Gippsland in Leongatha, Mirboo North, Poowong, Korumburra and Toora https://chattycafeaustralia.org.au put the town name in the search to find out when and where they are on;
- 3mfm interviews see podcasts section of this website;
- Bat Bowl Catch and Care – Local Cricket Club rounds in support of mental health – coming up in the summer cricket season.
